28 days in a row of salmon limits - now on Klamath River

Klamath River

9-15-11: It's now 28 days in a row of salmon limits! After a 26-day run of salmon limits in the Sacramento River, Kevin has moved over to the Klamath River (until October 9, then it's back to the Sacramento and Feather Rivers). Despite changing rivers, he hasn't missed a beat - the limits keep on coming, and it's up to 28 days of salmon limits in a row now. Today's fishing was fast and furious again, with limits for 4 anglers to 14 lbs by 10:13 am. That's hot fishing! The tackle used was 10 lb P-Line main line with 8 lb flourocarbon leader, and double hot red Pro-Cured roe with a red or charteuse puff ball for that little something extra. This is matched up with light action G. Loomis GL3 rods and the Penn Slammer spinning reels. With these fresh ocean-run Klamath salmon, that light tackle is a whole lot of fun. If you are interested in some great fishing and eating, be sure to give Kevin a call at 800-995-5543. There's no telling when we'll see another season like this one, and the fishing sure has been steady, reliable, and hot. There's no better time to go fishing then when the fish are biting! Fish On!
