Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Trips We enjoyed having Paul Richard and his group with us on the Getaway. A great group of guys. They caught white snapper, vermillion snapper, triggerfish, red grouper, gag grouper and one amberjack. We travelled offshore over 30 miles to find these fish. It took some squid and good live bait to get them on the hook. The cobia have arrived along the beaches of Alabama. There have been several caught from 30lbs to 75lbs. Most are being caught on live eels, live pinfish and jigs. These cobia trips can be very enjoyable as we travel along the beaches of Alabama and sightfish for these giants.
