Gulf Coast Fishing Report - Orange Beach

Deep sea fishing Orange Beach Alabama The Red Snapper World Championship tournament is going strong. There has been a 31 pound red snapper weighed in by a private boat. That is one big red snapper. There is still pleny of time, so we are all still in search of the big red one. We enjoyed a great 12 hour offshore bottomfishing charter today. We had to work hard for our fish as we travelled to many different reefs. Everyone had patience and it paid off. We ended the day with red snapper, white snapper, vermillion snapper, triggerfish, scamp, almaco amberjack and grouper with the largest one weighing near 30 pounds. Wahoo are showing up on the longer trips and the water is beautiful. We will begin our offshore trolling trips by mid May. Let's go fishing. Captain Don McPherson Getaway Charters
