INSHORE: A few dorado and skipjack provided fair action. .. BEACH: Stormy conditions slowed things down. .. QUICK COMMENT - Cold weather and rain keep fishing down to a minimum. MAGDALENA BAY, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO Sat., March 03, 2001 Temperatures: 69-degree high; low 55. TUNA - No one targeted them this week. YELLOWTAIL - Good fishing near the entrada (entrance). CORVINA - Fair catches in the estero (estuary) south of San Carlos. SNOOK - Still good fishing in several esteros less than 30 minutes from Puerto San Carlos and Devil's Curve. HALIBUT - Continue to be a good bet for the fly rodder. .. QUICK COMMENT - Somehow the bad weather at East Cape didn't come by here. The whale watching has been great and the fishing isn’t bad either.
