BEACH: Concentrations of sardinia up and down the beach are driving the roosters and jacks crazy. And anglers, too! .. QUICK COMMENT - Both the beach and the pontoon boat, in the words of Baja on the Fly guide Jeff DeBrown, are awesome. I was out on the beach in front of La Ribera this morning and there were roosters as far as you could see down the beach feeding on sardina. I am not sure what else was mixed in with them, but I did catch a halibut underneath one bait ball. The pontoon boat fly-fishers in front of the hotels near the bait boat are having a blast with roosters, jacks, pompano and even a 30 pound pargo yesterday.
