(6/14-6/17) EAST CAPE, MAGDALENA BAY AND ZIHUATANEJO CONDITIONS EAST CAPE, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO IN GENERAL: Football-sized tuna and a 9-weight flyrod add up to Fun, Fun, Fun. Factor in some sashimi and margaritas in the evening before a walk on the beach to sight-cast to boiling fish. That was the story for Richard Naimark, Plainsboro, N.J. along with his friend Allen Schlift, who are enjoying their respite from the East Coast rainy weather. Yesterday (6/17) was Richard’s first time catching tuna on the fly and judging by his enthusiasm it won't be his last. Those tuna must be real confidence builders. Last night he and Allen were planning their assault on an unsuspecting marlin this morning.
