STRIPED MARLIN – Definitely has picked this week lots of sailfish YELLOWFIN TUNA – Larger fish underneath the porpoise outside. DORADO – Some schooling up from La Ribera to Punta Colorada. ROOSTERFISH –Continues to be a banner year. JACK CREVALLE – Punta Arena is the best bet BARRILLETE OR MEXICAN SKIPJACK – A few scattered outside of La Ribera. PARGO AND CABRILLA – Several of the rock reefs near Punta Colorada produced good catches. . .. OFFSHORE: Billfish and larger tuna counts both went up this week .. INSHORE: A few schooling dorado and the roosterfish provided good action .. BEACH: Gray light and late afternoons was the best bet for jacks and roosters. .. DORADO – Same area as the marlin produced good catches TUNA – Plenty of action on football sized fish several miles west of the Thetis Bank. YELLOWTAIL – Still a fair bite at the Thetis Bank CORVINA – Good catches reported up by the Power Plant. SNOOK – Devils Curve produced several larger snook this week . HALIBUT – Sand beaches on Magdalena Island are your best bet. .. QUICK COMMENT – Good offshore action with reports of dorado to twenty five pounds hitting anything that landed in the water.
