This past week has seen an influx of bigger bluefish in the eastern sound. These fish are up on top and are eating butterfish. They seem to be in two groups. Those that are in the six to eight pound range and the ones that are in the twelve to fifteen pound range. We were pretty much by ourselves when we tangled with the big ones on our last trip. On our way back to the dock we passed large schools of these fish finning on top.
