{%image_id=45108%}{%image_id=45107%}We are finally seeing our water temperatures start to fall a little here in the low country. And with our estuary system chocked full of bait shrimp and mullet, the bite is turning on. Both the Speckled trout and Redfish are currently being taken in pretty good numbers. Have had some very good trips the last 3 weeks on both Reds and Trout. The trout have been mostly on the short side of the 14 inch legal minimum, but should grow out in the next couple of months. And the Redfish are on the take for cut mullet fished on knocker rigs. Had one yesterday on the flats that measured 31 inches and pulled the boga scale down to 14 pounds. Im really looking forward to this fall as the bait moves out and the frenzy gets rolling big time. Should have some banner days. And the Bull Reds should be making their way into the sound shortly and doubled over rods will be the norm. {%image_id=45106%}{%image_id=45105%}
