For a break from the arm-stretching tunas, we put the feathers out for bonito baits, circle-hook rigged between the eyes, and slow trolled around the action. Very few days without at least a marlin on, sometimes more. Wahoo are most everywhere, but we´ve had our best bites outside Islas Paridas, and over to Islas Secas. They love it there. So do we. Some excellent cubera snapper, amberjack, and a few decent grouper taken around Secas. Weather has been, and wil be, a factor in the fishing, but with rainsuits and an adventurous attitude, we´re still havin´fun, after all these years , as the Ol´song goes.
