The headline for the whole week has been lots of small blues on the Long Island side of the Sound. We also had some keeper fluke and schoolie bass, but it was bluefish that kept our passengers busy. The Connecticut shoreline and Norwalk Islands haven't been producing much of anything, but we're hoping for improvement in days to come. A few larger stripers have been caught by buddies fishing around dawn and during night trips closer to Bridgeport, but it's a long haul to the fishing grounds, and it's been difficult to get live bunker on a regular basis.
