Busy helping Santa but fishing again soon. 12-19-03 Busy with Christmas and fishing again soon. It’s been cold and windy most of the time so we are busy helping Santa. We did slip out a few times and look for cobia and tripletail. There are a few around but no good ones yet. One of my buddies got a couple of keepers but he’s put in the time. If your patient some good fish are available. Reds are still open and working the deeper pot holes. Spoons, soft plastics, and pinfish are your best bets here. You’ll get some C&R trout. The hot ticket for now is sheepshead. Not fancy or glamorous but tasty and fun to catch. They have liberal bag limits and are abundant already this year. Most important is for you and your loved ones to have a safe and very Merry Christmas. Fishing business picks up right after the big jolly man drops off his goodies.
