Cabo Fishing Report October 1 October is here and we are having the type of season Cabo is known for. Steady Blue and Black Marlin catches, Striped Marlin are thick, and Dorado are everywhere. Typical numbers on a full day charter are a handful of billfish releases, more Dorado than there are hours in the day., and Yellow fin tuna running beneath schools of porpoise. Rooster fish are available as well as California Yellowtail. With Tournament season upon us we will be seeing larger fish as the anglers focus more on catching that one big fish and break out the big tackle. Expect mates and captains to be dragging bigger baits and tightening their technique in preparation. S.L.
