Black marlin and some very large Pacific sailfish taken around Isla Montuosa and the Hannibal Bank. Sailfish are thick as fleas. Dorado continue to bite exceptionally well and are keeping the grills smokin'. Some very nice MULLET and CUBERA snappers being jigged and baited up around the Bank and off the reef at Montuosa, many cuberas topping the 30 lb. mark. Isla Ladrones and the stretch between there and Montuosa continue to fish very well, and live bonitos are easy to get on feather rigs to be nose-bridled with circle hooks. Concentrating on the big billfish has taken the pressure off the tunas for a bit, but they are still out there too. Easy runs in very calm seas make all this catching even more enjoyable, with a smooth ride home after a full day of "pump n'reel" under an anglers belt.
