Have fished several trips since my last report, and the Cobia and Redfish bite have still been very good. Lots of wind the last ten days, so sight fishing the Cobia has been difficult, but chumming on known hotspots has still been good. Fished last Friday with Capt Mike Upchurch, and we had several shots at cruising Cobia, plus hooked one up behind the chum bag after the water turned on the incoming tide. I fished a couple of Refish trips also, and we did pretty well throwing mud minnows under popping corks in front of the oyster shells. These fish are year around residents and tend to stay withing 100 yards or so of their home base, so a little patience can pay off if you know where they tend to want to go. Also did a quick Flounder gigging trip, and are starting to find more Flounder moving into the river.
