Charters have been way down since Labor Day weekend, but when we've gone out we've been rewarded with lots of bluefish in the middle of L.I.Sound. And blackfish season is open, and there's no shortage of tautogs around the Norwalk Islands. If the rain stopped coming down, and the winds stopped blowing, we might actually get out when we want to. "My Bonnie" will be pulled from the water in early November, but we're still hoping to see action from the fall migration of striped bass and large blues.
