Long Island Sound, connecticut

September 04, 2009
This past weekends storm plus the full moon have provided us with a nice supply of bait and fish. The albies showed up coastwide on Tuesday and they were in an eating frame of mind. Their primary choice were baby butterfish. there were some bonito mixed in, as well as the usual bass and bluefish. The albies started off on the small side but grew larger as the week progressed. If they don't run over and driven out this weekend we should have a pretty good Fall.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Sandy Noyes
