Long Island Sound, connecticut

This past week saw more stripers showing up in their usual spots. They ave been averaging eight to twelve lbs. and were all caught on flys. They are on their way northward and haven't taken up in their sumertime spots yet. We have been using 12 inch Mushie Eel Flies on sink tip lines. This is all daytime fishing. The fish have been in eight to twenty five feet of water. They should stick around as long as the bait stays.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Sandy Noyes
