Consistancy
Long Island Sound, connecticut

When the weather allows it the fishing has been pretty consistent this past week. All of the regular species are around. We had two Grand Slams on Thursday with each angler catching a striper, a bluefish a bonito and an albie on the same trip. Their are a lot of boats trying to fish in the same areas so it sometimes makes it a bit more challenging. The primary bait is switching from baby butterfish over to bay anchovies. That should help to keep the albies happy. There aren't as many blues around but the ones that stayed are bigger. We are seeing more bass in the mix.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Sandy Noyes
