Eastern Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound

Capt. Scott Anderson of Kingfisher Charters reports that the Marchese group got out Sat. morning June 1st and found perfect fishing conditions. They were able to land there limit of striped bass in the first two hours, 10 fish between 32” and 38” with the two biggest being a 43” and a fat 46” 40lb’er caught by Afonso “moose” Dacunha. After catch and releasing several more fish we went fluke fishing off the south side of Fisher’s Island but only picked up a bunch of skates and 4 shorts.
