TAKE YOUR PICK! Albies, blues, bass, blackfish, and bluefin tuna. Every October the fishing scene usually breaks wide open. Fish are gorging for the winter and it is not difficult to score on any of the above fish. Especially for the light tackle enthusiast. Fish can be found crashing bait from Watch Hill to Plum Gut. Blackfishing has been the best I have seen in years. It is not hard to limit out, and they are on just about every rocky reef in the sound. Bluefin tuna are being caught in big numbers as well with fish being caught upwards of 150 pounds with an occasssional spooling by a giant. Get out while you can, we still have a few dates left for the fall run.
