Connecticut Charter Fishing Report Took out the Collins family charter on the Kingfisher for Blackfish Sat. the 25th o. Fished the west end of Fisher’s Island, caught the tide just right and limited out in 2 ½ hours with the biggest going 8 lbs. They were taking half a green crab and sandworm combo more readily than just the crab. We finished off the day jigging stripers and blues around the race. Landed two keeper stripers, and a bunch of hammer blues. The blackfishing this year has been phenomenal, probably won’t put the boat away until December.
