Eastern Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound

General report for past two weeks striped bass, fishing, charter, ct Things have been on and off due to the recent cold fronts moving thru the area. Just before the front the fish have been feeding heavily and very aggressive. Just after the front the fishing is very tough. The water temps are still high so it looks like an extended season for most species. We will be starting are Blackfish trips next week and they will run into November. From various reports and prefishing it looks like it is going to be one of the best seasons for blackfish and the the past two years have been very good.
