Fall migration heating up

{%image_id=50319%}{%image_id=50317%}This past weekend saw Stripers returning to the area in increasing numbers mixing with Bluefish of various sizes. The action has been fast and furious as the fish are gorging in preparation for the migration South. We are catching fish trolling and casting with light tackle. Blackfish season opens next week and if the past few seasons are any indication coolers will be filled with plenty of fresh fillets.This month can feature some of the best fishing of the year if the weather cooperates.
