Hot topwater and light tackle action!

This weekend's trips found customers enjoying outstanding fishing with stripers to 38" on top water squid imitations and plastic swim baits. Saturday Bill and Will Rishel along with friend Chris Anderson used spinning gear (17lb.braid) to catch and release 20 plus stripers. Most fish were 30-32" in shallow water. We had to leave the fish biting as the evening ended. Sunday Richard Stone and crew used plastic squid imitations to land a limit of fat healthy stripers with the biggest fish measuring 38 inches. With recent years weak fall runs and large numbers of bluefish NOW IS THE TIME to enjoy the best striper fishing of the year.
