More bait shows up in Long Island Sound
Long Island Sound, connecticut

June 17, 2009
We were able to get out this morning with Harl and his son Hank. We found fish on top at three of our first four stops. The pick of the day started with butterfish and then switching over to squid. After the tide slowed we found large schools of silversides. The guys did well using bucktails and Sluggos. Most of the stripers were in the 6 to 8 lb. range with one ten lb. bluefish thrown in.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Sandy Noyes
