This past week saw the arrival of schools of small bluefish in the one to two pound range. They are a lot of fun on light tackle. Unfortunately most of the stripers are becoming fussy. We saw good numbers of them sipping small sand eels on the surface. When they do that they are not inclined to co-operate.We are still waiting for the usual influx of larger bass in the area.
