This past week has shown a huge increase of bait into Long Island Sound. It has been mostly comprised of half dollar sized butterfish. The bait was followed in by a good numbers of bass. The fish have been jumping all over flies and Small jigs. We have landed several fish that were in the 20 lb. range and several more around 15 lbs. Right now the fish are feeding on both tides with the earlier tide being the most productive.
