Tale of two tides
Long Island Sound, connecticut
Mark Anderson
July 19, 2012
This past week saw outstanding fishing on the ebb tide. Stripers and blues were feeding hard on the outgoing tide, three-wayed bucktails produced stripers up to 37" and bluefish to 14lbs. The flood tide was VERY slow with both species in the race. Trolling parachutes produced a few bass and bluefish. Night fishing was the same minus the blues. Live eels and black bucktails were the ticket to getting your limit.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Mark Anderson
