The Sound is starting to wake up.

After a slow start this week the fishing started to come around. There were small schools of bass chasing squid on top. The problem was that the fish would come up grab a squid and head right back to the bottom. There were some fish on small herring inshore but again there was not an abundance of bait. Our best guess is that with this weeks full moon there should be an increase of bait arriving in the Sound.
