The squid have arrived

This week brought the first consistent numbers of squid in our area. This also brought a good number of keeper sized bass.Our trips this week were all good with fish averaging eight pounds and several upwards of 15 pounds. All of these were taken on a fly. As long as the bait holds up the migrating bass will stick around. Both tides fished equally as well. We saw our first schools of bass on top in the inshore waters.
