The stocking truck finally arrived

I went out by myself on Wednesday morning to see if I could find any signs of life. My first cast netted a 12 lb. bluefish. That was followed by a steady pick of 8 - 12 lb. stripers which lasted for several hours. I picked up another big bluefish and that reminded me why I prefer stripers. The fish were eating sand eels and squid. I had one bass take a good sized butterfish or a small porgy right next to the boat. A good day with the fly rod.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Sandy Noyes
