Fishing Definitely Improving

There are large bluefish up to 12 pounds on the surface in the middle of L.I. Sound.(Yesterday I brought in a 16-pounder while fishing aboard another captain's boat.) Also, there have been sightings of striped bass blitzing closer to home–from schoolie to keeper size. Fluking is improving, but little sign of porgies right now.
