The calendar seems to dictate when clients will stop booking charters. Since Labor Day we've done a few weekend trips. The catch has included middle-size bluefish, large porgies, small stripers and a couple of small fluke. We're hoping that the cooler weather we've been experiencing will attract some schools of migrating striped bass and that when folks see pix of lunkers they'll be enthusiastic about going fishing. Our boat will remain in Long Island Sound for another six weeks, and then we'll begin to get ready for our own migration to Sebastian FL.
