Only two trips this week; but good ones....

We were out just twice this week. On Friday we fished with our faithful regular, Robert Remin of White Plains–who brought along neighbors, Evan Gilder and his young son, Daniel. Everyone enjoyed the morning–with non-stop jigging action, catching blues and striped bass–and ending the trip with a nice mess of scup 13-15″. Sunday was a busman's holiday; the weather was beautiful, and my wife, Bonnie, and I spent five hours bringing in bluefish–using diamond jigs and also imitation sand eels when the fish were on top.
