Report for Long Island Sound
Norwalk Islands, connecticut
Sal Tardella
September 06, 2003
Gene Holland of Bronxville NY had a tough day fishing in the heavy rains on Thursday, but using a fly rod he managed to bring in a few stripers around the Norwalk Islands. One of our regulars, Virginia Kamsky of Wilson Point brought along her six-year-old son, Michael, and his governess for a good day of non-stop porgy fishing, after which we found bluefish breaking the surface behind Cockenoe. Everyone pulled in blues on light spinning tackle. Tom Morley and family of Wilton enjoyed good fishing around 28C, chunking bluefish 7-10 pounds, keeper fluke and some porgies.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Sal Tardella
