Report for Long Island Sound

We won't have a fishing report for a couple of weeks. We closed up our Florida boat last week and have since returned to Connecticut. Our Norwalk boat has been totally overhauled and is still under a tarpaulin. As soon as we launch "My Bonnie" and have wet our lines a couple of times here on Long Island Sound, we'll tell our readers what we've found. Right now we're still dealing with a record-breaking three-day nor'easter, which will doubtless push the fishing back even later than usual. We'll see what happens when the rain and winds stop, and the sun appears, bringing with it some warmer temperatures and happier temperaments. Connecticut cabin fever can be very debilitating to the serious angler who thought that with the coming of April, we'd all be back in business!
