The fishing in western Long Island Sound has been excellent, from the Norwalk Islands to Branford. Large schools of Bluefish, feeding on the surface, have provided fly fishermen with some pretty intense sight fishing. Southport Harbor, Black Rock Harbor, Penfield Reef, Long Beach, the mouth of the Housatonic River and the Milford coast line have all been producing fish at different times of the day and tide. Sunday morning the false Albacore and Spanish Mackerel made a spectacular appearance in the mouth of the Housatonic River and Short Beach. Good luck fishing Capt.
