As I look back on the season one word comes to mind, AWESOME. The striped bass fishery is in excellent shape. There's not as many big fish as there used to be but the numbers are certainly there. We caught more bass this year than any other year and the bluefish have made a nice comeback and I only see it getting better. Fluke fishing was excellent as well this year especially early in the season around Montaulk. We will be starting our first trips for fluke and stripers early april next season.
