The "Kingfisher" found Bass, Blues, and False Albacore for charters this past weekend in the race. Most fish were caught on sassy shad umbrellas and chartreuse parachute jigs trolling wire around the high. The blues were average size and the bass were between 24" and 34". One Gent. persistant on getting hooked up with a falsie on his noodle rod scored big while drifting around Valient. After loosing several small 1/8 ounce sassy shad rigs to bluefish he finally hooked up just as it got dark. 15 pound Albie, real nice fish. Persistance paid off again I must say. Difting hickories in skinny water aound fishers didn't produce much on a scout trip tues. night. I bet the next few cold fronts will bring in the big boys. Water temp was still 68 degrees inside of fisher's. See ya out there this weekend. We still have a couple open dates for blackfish end of Oct./Nov. Call today while they are still available.
