May 17th trip on the Kingfisher Ed Grover and crew joined us for some famed Montauk Fluke this past saturday. With the new 19 1/2 inch length regulations it is very difficult to limit out on fluke in New York waters. Ed's group did get alot of action but only managed 4 keepers over the 19 1/2 inch limit. $ other fish measured out at 19" plus about 20 fluke under 19". Also cuaght were 8 bluefish a few Sea Robins and plenty of Skate. The striped bass scene is breaking open with plenty of fish showing up at the usual spots. The realy big fish are also being caught here and there on live bunker that have been showing up in some of the nearby estuaries. We had a cancellation for Memorial Day if anyone is interested in setting up a trip this coming Monday give us a call.
