The tarpon bite in Estero Bay continues to stay strong. Locating the fish isn't the problem though. Half of the battle is getting a fish to bite and not shake the hook. These fish are feeding on mullet, crabs, shrimp, pilchards, soft plastics, and hard plastics. If you don't have pilchards it may be difficult to get these fish to bite. Redfish are along mangrove shorelines and tight on oyster beds.
