The lowcountry of South Carolina has been like a lot of the country when it comes to weather matters. We had record flooding recently and very few cold fronts to help drop our water temperatures. As a result the normal pre-winter bite is a little behind. That is not to say you can't catch fish, as the trout, Redfish and flounder are still biting. We have been doing the best with live shrimp fished under a popping cork. Finding clean water has been a chore, but is really helpful in the bite. Hopefully things will straighten out shortly, and the bite pick up considerably.
