fall time into winter

Biscayne Bay

Greetings to all, I've been absent for a long time and I'm looking forward to catching up with reports. I have been Bonefishing and permit fishing throughout the keys, from Biscayne bay all the way down to key west with very good results. As far as Biscayne bay, bonefishing has been good during the days with the right conditions and the right tackle. High water is a constant factor we have to deal with this time of the year. That gives you small windows of fishable depths for bonefish, but makes permit fishing very good. It also puts Flyfishing on the tougher side (specially during cloudy days) but makes fishing with spinning and bait or artificial very good. That being said, Always be ready to adjust to the situation and the best technique for catching fish. The bonefish have made a huge comeback in the keys to say the least. Bahamas days like (as far as numbers and shots) can be had with regularity in many areas from islamorada, down to key west. when it comes to real big fish, there still no better place than Biscayne bay if the challenge of a giant bonefish is what you are after. if you want to experience some of the best Bonefishing, whether is out of Miami or the keys, give me a call and I'll be more than happy to put you on the fish. cheers and until the next time.
