Final Countdown for the Season...

Norwalk Islands

On our last trip we got lots of porgies, sea bass, bluefish and an unfamiliar cod-like fish, which turned out to be a hake. Bluefish are larger and more plentiful, and the weather's been great if you don't mind windy conditions. We have two more trips scheduled before we pull My Bonnie from Long Island Sound to get her ready for her winter hiatus. Then we'll head for Florida, setting up our Sebastian charters in early November; if all goes well, we'll start fishing the rivers before Thanksgiving.
