This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 678-363-6260. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected]. Line-side fishing is starting to really heat up. The upper Etowah is with out question the best bite on the lake. I got e-mails and phone calls from different anglers who have been wearing them out up there. Any where from Fields Landing all the way up to the ball field in Canton. I have seen pictures of some really good fish caught up there this week. Stripes well up in the 30's and Hybrids around 10 pounds. But with the river run being so strong this year. So is the boat traffic. Even a strong river run like the one we got this year. There will only be about 30% of the fish up there. So with that being said I decided to stay south of mid lake. And have been doing very well.. All your main creek are holding fish. And so are your beaches. The water Temp is in the mid 60's. And this is prime for top water. Free-lines, flat-lines and Planner boards are working best. Top water is getting very good right at sun up . And right at dark. A 3/8 oz bucktail will get bit all most every-time if you can get it to these busting fish. Trollers the Mack Farr u-rig bite is starting to pick up. A 3 arm loaded with 3/8 oz jigs will get your drags pulled. I got only a few days left open for April call me before there all gone. And remember Kids under 15 years old fish for free with paying adults.( 2 kids max ) April and May are the 2 best months for BIG fish. give me a call and lets go fishing.......
