Lake Allatoona

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected]. Line sides fishing is good but has slowed down a little from to past two weeks. I think the full moon phase had something to do with it and the fishing should start to pick back up in the next few days. The fish we caught this week where scattered up and down the lake. >From as far south as the 75 bridge and as far north as Victory landing and down lines work over the river channels seem to be working best. We have caught a few fish this week on free-lines but the boat traffic makes it hard to fish this way. Trolling the Mack Farr umbrella rigs are working great right now. Pull a three-arm, with seven ½ ounce chartreuse jigs. top water The top water bite is really starting to pick up right now. Throw a White Fluke at them when you see them busting. Some of the best top water action I have seen this week has been mid-day. Mention Ken Sturdivant for $25.00 off a full day on Lake Allatoona. July is one of the best months for line sides on Allatoona so go get the kids and let's go fishing.
