Fishing Namibia

Henties Bay

With winter well entrenched now, the shark fishing has quietened down a little although there are still good numbers of bronze whaler sharks around. Spotted gully sharks remain abundant and the cow sharks are starting to show now that the water temperature has dropped. The shore fishing for kabeljou and steenbras has been slow of late but the galjoen have more than made up for that in size and numbers. The boat fishing, especially for the kabeljou, is outstanding right now and long may that continue.
