Fishing Report - Chokoloskee

Chokoloskee

The bite is ON and the fishing is at it's best right now out of Chokoloskee and Everglades City. The water temperatures have been ranging between 80 and 82 degrees for the last few days. There was some wind Friday - Sunday which pushed the tide out longer and lower than forecasted, but the bite was still awesome, especially as the tide rolled in and flooded the oyster bars. The redfish bite has been at it's best along with some big snook and nice black drum. Captains Brandon, Austin, John, Kurt, and I have been averaging 20+ reds on 4 and 6 hour trips, and most have been in the slot of 18"-27", with a few small rats and some hefty over slots being caught too. Most fish are accepting live shrimp under popping corks. Below are a few fish caught the last few days on our charters. check out more info on our website at http://www.CaptainRapps.com {%image_id=56220%} {%image_id=56219%} {%image_id=56218%} {%image_id=56217%} {%image_id=56216%}
