Fall is here. You may not be able to feel it in the air but you can definitely tell by the fishing. We have caught reds just about every day we have fished for them over the last couple of weeks. The redfish schooling is one way to tell fall is coming. Today we took a live well full of ly's to a seldom hit but very productive spot. Word for the day; "ACTION". That's what Ray wants and that's what was delivered. The reason I say the fish are acting like fall is just how they bit today. Almost every fish picked up the bait like it was it's last meal. In a 40' by 40' spot we caught sharks, spanish, blues on live bait and on topwater, skips and trout...some nice trout. The bluefish were all larger than the average one to one and a half pound fish caught on Camel Back or the Middle Grounds. These blues were all in the 3lbs. plus range. The spanish were nice sized. Even though we didn't get any "gator" trout we had four very nice 19" to 21" fish. This kind of bite will continue thru October. The species of fish may change from day to day but the bite is good. {%image_id=11481%} {%image_id=11482%} {%image_id=11483%}
